About

MusicEdMajor.Net was founded by Andy Zweibel in the summer of 2009. Inspired by many music education blogs that were already established, Andy created this site to provide resources, tips and experiences with his fellow music education majors. Initially conceived as a podcast, Andy’s idea quickly became this website as he realized the volume of information that could be shared, and blogging seemed to be the most effective route. To find out more about Andy, check out his website at AndyZweibel.Com!

MusicEdMajor.net is dedicated to helping Music Education majors get the most out of their course of study. As a resource for prospective music education majors, undergraduate and graduate students alike, MusicEdMajor.net provides news, tips, insights, and general discussion on the experiences that Music Education majors are likely to encounter. Also included are resources and recommendations to help with your networking, job search, and What’s Next?! Join in and help make MusicEdMajor.net become THE Music Education Major’s one-stop shop on the web!
