Contribute to MusicEdMajor.net

While I started MusicMajor.net alone, I know that there are plenty of Music Education majors around the country (and even the world!) who have just as much (or more) to in the subject areas on which this blog focuses. It is my hope that MusicEdMajor.net will some day become much less a blog run by one person, and much more a community, with many contributing writers sharing their fantastic ideas. With this in mind, I am extremely interested in having guest writers, or regular contributors, become a part of MusicEdMajor.net!

If you are interested in writing a guest post for MusicEdMajor.net, please consider the following:

  • Posts should be on a very specific topic (not just “Advice for Music Ed Majors”)
  • Posts should be somewhere between 400-900 words (roughly)
  • Posts should be passionate, interesting, and insightful!

That’s it! If you are interested in writing a guest post for MusicEdMajor.net, please contact me with a brief explanation of your idea for a post, and I will get back to you as soon as possible! I would love to have you contribute to this site!

I'd welcome a chance to contribute here. I have taught at all levels and now work in the private sector - as a music education entrepreneur. If you'd like to learn more check out my blog. At the very least, it might be nice to get a non-academic perspective of music education.

Here is a post that ALL educators might benefit from, it's titled TEETH:
